Christian's career spans over twenty years of magic, musicals, avant-garde plays, independent films, and political theater. From 1999 – 2009 he worked regularly with notable San Francisco companies like Kaliyuga Arts, 42nd Street Moon, and the San Francisco Mime Troupe.
He began developing his own theatrical magic shows as an Artist in Residence at EXIT Theatre from 2003 – 2012 with the shows Magic @ the Fringe, The 13 Steps, The Pandora Experiment, Now and at the Hour, OBSCURA, and The Collection, and performed in fringe festivals across North America. Since 2016, Christian has been the owner-operator of the favorite, San Francisco Ghost Hunt which he originally co-created in 1998. And he's made the occasional acting appearance in films like Bitter Melon and Fruit Fly for friend and lauded filmmaker H.P. Mendoza, Circle of 13 directed by Isaac Pingree, and Retreat! written and directed by Joe Boyce and Grace Day
He now splits his time between the Bay Area and Brooklyn, co-founded the New York branch of Odd Salon, performs at the FRIGID NYC (formerly Horse Trade Theater) in the East Village, and is a regular performer at Speakeasy Magick.
More recently, Christian was the magic consultant for the Glickman Award winning This Much I Know, written by Jonathan Spector at Aurora Theater Company in Berkeley, California; and the Associate Illusion Designer for the Obie Award winning, Pulitzer Prize winning, and five time Tony nominee Fat Ham written by James Ijames at The Public Theater in 2022 and on Broadway at the Todd Haimes (formerly the American Airlines Theater) in 2023.
